I am loving summer and all of the beach-going, barbecue-eating, family-visiting fun that comes with it! We were so fortunate to be able to see my husband’s parents in California for a week. Our little one relished knocking over her cousin’s sand castles and running through the waves with her Nana.
I got home and was delighted to have this amazing creation in my mailbox. I seriously just want to carry it around with me, room to room, so I can look at it everywhere! I am beyond thrilled. Thank you, Lesley!!!
And we just got in Erin McMorris’ new line, SummerSault, for our little etsy shop. I cannot even tell you how much I love this line. At Market, I somehow completely missed this booth, but we ordered a little bit anyway. I am so glad I did. I am using it to make this baby quilt for my cousin who is having a baby soon. I am calling it Web of Ties. I crack myself up 
And, because I have new fabric, and it has been awhile. And I love to give stuff away. So, if you want a little bit of Summer, regardless of where you live or what the temps are near you, I am giving away a charm pack of SummerSault to a bloggy reader.

My hubbie and I actually went to San Francisco for our honeymoon, but it was January so there was no beach scene! Plus there ended up being torrential rains and flooding which cut our honeymoon short, but… I’d still love to go back! Great giveaway!

Thanks for the opportunity to win some charms – lucky charms perhaps! I love the water – to watch and live around – not so much to be in and swimming anymore. Actually, it is the bathing suit “thing”. My infant grandnieces each had their first dip of toes into the water this past week and loved it.
Oh, I sooooo love the beach, particularly in the Lincoln City/Depot Bay/Newport area…I live in Washington, where I spent my summers @ Westport or Ocean Shores (don’t tell anyone that I like the Oregon Coast better). Someday though, I would love, love, love to drive 101 all the way into Cali!!!
